Shirei Chagigah Music Conference: 6-9 July 2017

Shirei Chagigah – Reform Judaism’s biennial music conference

Shirei Chagigah is running this year from Thursday 6th to Sunday 9th July. We are delighted to be hosted by Radlett Reform Synagogue apart from Friday night which will be at Finchley Reform Synagogue.

Shirei Chagigah is absolutely about singing, about being together, creating community and learning new melodies but that’s not all. Shirei Chagigah is for everyone whether you’re a service leader or follower. It is an opportunity to relax, enjoy, be spiritually uplifted, learn how to compose, understand the history and development of music in our services and how to be the service leader or choir leader you’ve always wanted to be.

Shiri Chagigah blends the traditional and the new, whether you want to experience something new or learn to incorporate nusach or drumming into your services this is where you will find like-minded individuals and teachers to support you.

The faculty for Shirei Chagigah 2017 has been confirmed. Back by popular demand we have Noah Aronson, Cantor Rosalie Boxt and our very own Cantor Zöe Jacobs. For the first (and we hope not last!) time we are delighted to introduce Elana Arian and Rabbi Ken Chasen.

As a team they will be bringing us so many different facets of Jewish musical learning that you won’t want to miss out!

Bookings are open now with an early bird price available only until 31 April in addition to a subsidy for all members of Reform communities. Don’t delay book today! Any questions call Sarita on 07415 274362
