Senior Youth Worker (Full Time) Required

Finchley Reform Synagogue is looking for an experienced, energetic and enthusiastic full time Senior Youth Worker to join our dynamic professional team.
The success of our youth programme comes from a basis of excellent teamwork and a drive to engage all of our youth in a variety of programmes to meet their needs, both educationally and socially. As part of a committed and supportive team, you will be a confident leader and an exceptional role model. You will be responsible for running existing programmes and developing new ones, training our current and future madrichim and building strong relationships throughout, all the while encouraging our youth to be a part of our programmes at all levels. This role requires the flexibility to be able to work some weekends, evenings and Jewish holidays.

FRS Kindergarten Key Person Vacancy
FRS Kindergarten is looking for an additional member of staff to join our friendly and dedicated team in January 2019. We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, enthusiastic practitioner, who is passionate about the provision of high quality Early Years education, to work with children aged 2-5yrs in our ‘Outstanding’ setting (as graded by Ofsted, 2016).
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children of this age group, a regard for their duty to safeguard children, a flexible play-based approach to learning and preferably hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification. The position is for five mornings per week (8.30am – 12.45pm), with the possibility of additional hours in the future.
Please note, all applicants must provide two written references and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check (processed through the Kindergarten). Candidates will be asked to complete an application form and successful candidates will be required to come in for an interview and activity session. Volunteer Receptionists (part-time)
Each session is three hours long (with 10 three hour slots over the week) and the post would ideally suit those who can commit to a regular slot (or slots). You might be someone who has recently retired and is looking for a volunteering opportunity, or a recent graduate looking for work experience. Perhaps you are a parent looking to enhance your CV before returning to work after a career break, or you may simply want to give some time to your community on a regular basis. Whatever your reason, we would be delighted to meet with you to discuss the opportunity further.
