Mussar London 2020
Do you have a parent with dementia?
Could You Become an Ambassador for Camp Simcha?
Camp Simcha supports families coping with serious childhood illness. We’re asking people to become Ambassadors for Camp Simcha so that they understand what we do and who we help, and can refer anyone they come across in the future for our help.
It’s really not a big commitment in any way – just attend a training seminar in February 2020 and then be Camp Simcha’s “eyes and ears” in the community, so that no Jewish child slips through the net. We promise not to ask Ambassadors to donate or fundraise for us… but they will help us to spread the word that Camp Simcha is here for all Jewish families who need us. Naomi Cohen would love to hear from you – please call on 07932 772 707 for more information or email email@example.com
Work Avenue’s mission is to help people become financially independent. We offer support to the entire community, helping people earn a living through getting a job or growing a business. To find out more, contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Refugees at Home
‘Welcome the stranger into your home’ – Yom Kippur Machzor.
At least four members of FRS (and several more from a neighbouring synagogue) have hosted refugees. However, we urgently need more hosts in this area of London. Our organisation Refugees at Home ( www.refugeesathome.org) offers ongoing support to our hosts so you will not be alone . If you would like to hear more about the scheme, please email me, Marion Kafetz, and I will be happy to speak to you.
